- 28 April 2026 UCAS Search Tool Opens
2027 entry courses become visible on the UCAS search tool.
- 12 May 2026 Applications Open
Applicants can register on the UCAS Hub and start building their 2027 applications.
- 1 September 2026 Submissions Open
Completed applications can be officially submitted to UCAS once school references and fees are attached.
- 15 October 2026 (18:00 UK time) Early Deadline
Equal consideration deadline for Oxford, Cambridge, and most courses in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science.
- 13 January 2027 (18:00 UK time) Main Equal Consideration Deadline
Deadline for the majority of standard undergraduate courses. Applications submitted by this time must be treated equally by universities.
- 25 February 2027 UCAS Extra Opens
Opens for applicants who used all 5 choices but hold no offers or declined all offers, allowing them to add one extra choice at a time.
- 12 May 2027 University Decision Deadline
Deadline for universities to make decisions on applications received by the 13 January deadline.
- 2 June 2027 Applicant Reply Deadline
Deadline for applicants to reply to offers if all university decisions were received by 12 May.
- 30 June 2027 (18:00 UK time) Main Application Deadline
Applications received after this time are automatically entered into Clearing.
- 2 July 2027 Clearing Opens
Clearing officially opens for eligible applicants seeking remaining vacancies.
- Mid-August 2027 Results Day & Main Clearing
A-level results are published; main confirmation and Clearing activity takes place.
- 23 September 2027 (18:00 UK time) Final Cycle Deadline
The absolute final deadline for 2027 entry applications to be submitted.
